The lovely Rebecca & Louise celebrated their wedding day at The Barn in Tunbridge Wells; a beautifully relaxed day filled with love and laughter.

After almost twenty years photographing weddings, I’m very used to the fact that all the meticulous planning in the world can’t counter the unpredictable nature of a wedding day, and I’m used to (calmly!) dealing with curve balls. But a protest march walking right past the wedding venue is a new one on me! Poor Rebecca and Louise were understandably anxious about how the protest might affect their day, but there was no need. The march passed by peacefully, and my gorgeous couple were able to enjoy their day.

After their ceremony - and utterly epic confetti shot - we headed across the road to Calverley Park, where we had heaps of fun creating some gorgeous romantic portraits among the pretty flowers. It was an absolute pleasure to capture them both, wearing the hugest smiles and being congratulated by passersby. There really is a special kind of magic on a wedding day!

The evening celebrations were equally as joyful as the day, with singing waiters surprising guests during their meal, and plenty of full on dancing which carried the energy into the night.
