Sidonie & James’ engagement shoot was abundant with Autumn colours and gorgeous light.

Engagement shoots are all about spending time together – for the couple to get to know me better and to get used to being photographed while I capture some shots of them at this incredibly exciting time of life. The lovely thing about engagement shoots is that we’ve the flexibility to work around the weather (unlike a wedding day which you definitely can’t reschedule just because the weather looks iffy!). And in this case we had postponed our original date as the weather wasn’t playing ball – and boy did we make the right decision! It was stunning – nice and mild, gorgeous low golden light and the leaves were still ablaze with colour. I’m thrilled we got our shoot in on such an amazing day!
