Martha & Andrew’s Wedding - Westerham Golf Club, Westerham
What an absolute JOY it was to join Martha & Andrew for their wedding at Westerham Golf Club! Martha & Andrew’s wedding included all my favourite things; a thoroughly relaxed and totally loved up couple, tonnes of confetti, a gorgeously glowy golden hour, veil swishing and some exceptionally impressive moves on the dance floor! There was something to photograph in every single moment.
The day began at Martha’s parents’ beautiful home, and it was lovely to catch up with them again, having photographed their family a few years ago. Between that and having seen Martha & Andrew for an engagement shoot in the Spring, it felt like visiting old friends! It’s always a very special thing to feel a part of the most important moments in people’s lives. Once the bridal preparations were complete, we headed to Westerham Golf Club for their ceremony and reception - a wonderfully versatile venue which offers a spacious setting both inside and out.
The weather couldn’t decide what it was doing; we had rain halfway through the group shots which even turned to hailstones for a while… but fortunately that passed quickly, replaced with the most stunning golden hour. We had a whale of a time chasing the sunshine in golf buggies - surely a very good reason to choose a golf club venue! The golden hour was breathtakingly beautiful.
As the sun went down, we headed inside for the evening festivities - which involved a LOT of dancing! The vibe was high and the dance floor was packed!
