Ebru & Huseyin’s Wedding - Salomons Estate, Tunbridge Wells
I’m still on a massive high from Ebru & Huseyin’s wedding! From start to finish it was a whirlwind of life, colour, vibrancy and magic. We had incredible autumn colours, bright sunshine, epic thunder, heavy rain, drums, dancers… and so much love.
This gorgeous pair had booked me having fallen in love with my golden hour photos, and had followed my advice to allow plenty of time in their day to head off to take some beautiful photos… so I think we were all as heartbroken as each other when the forecast predicted wall to wall rain! However… so often, a little bit of magic happens on a wedding day. Something unexpected will happen in the best possible way – and on Ebru & Huseyin’s day, it was a change in the weather that made it magical. The rain stopped, and after the beautifully intimate ceremony the sun came out – so off we went to make the most of the stunning grounds at Salomons Estate. Ebru happily walked through the mud to reach the perfect spot for photos and wasn’t the least bit phased. These two were SO invested in working with me to create gorgeous photos – I loved it!
After their meal, a thunderstorm of biblical proportions meant that the odds of getting those dreamy golden hour photos was looking miserably slim. And then… another moment of wedding day magic! The downpours gave way to sun and we enjoyed the most incredible autumnal golden hour.
Afterwards, we headed back in to welcome their evening guests and enjoy a huge party, complete with plenty of Turkish traditions. Drums, flutes and the most amazing dancing – a massive celebration! It was an absolute blast spending the day in their company and I’m delighted to have played a part in their incredible wedding day. Huge congratulations, Ebru & Huseyin!
